Eligibility:
Candidates must be at least 17 years of age by December 31st of the year of enrollment. They must have completed their Higher Secondary education (10+2) in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Biotechnology) as subjects. A minimum of 50% marks is required (40% for SC/ST and 45% for the OBC category).
Admission Procedure:
Students aspiring to pursue medical studies must appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) after completing Class 12. Admission to all government, central, private, and deemed colleges is based on NEET scores. Seats across all medical institutions, colleges, and universities are allocated through a counseling process, which is based on eligibility scores or ranks, college preferences, and seat availability. The counseling process comprises multiple rounds, such as Round 1, Round 2, the Mop-up Round, and the Stray Round. Each subsequent round depends on seat availability; if seats remain vacant after a round, the next round is conducted.
At Chittoor's Anna Gauri Medical College and Hospital, 100% of the seats will be filled through the Andhra Pradesh State NEET UG counseling 2025.
