East West Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (EWIMSR) is a medical education institution located in Talit, Burdwan, West Bengal. It is an initiative of the East West Model School Education Society, established with the objective of contributing to medical education and improving healthcare services in Burdwan and its surrounding regions. Admission Process 2026, EWIMSR Purba Bardhaman
- Admission to the EWIMSR MBBS program depends entirely on your NEET-UG 2026 score (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Your first step is to take the NEET-UG test and secure the required minimum score.
- Subsequently, you must register online and participate in the West Bengal (WB) centralized counseling process; you will submit your preferences, and a seat will be allotted to you based on your NEET score, category, and seat availability.
- Once a seat is allotted, you must report to EWIMSR with all the necessary documents and confirm your enrollment by paying the fees within the timeframe stipulated by the institute. Additional rounds of counseling may also be conducted to fill vacant seats or facilitate seat upgrades.
If you would like to apply for an MBBS program at EWIMSR you will need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. Completion of Class 12th or its equivalent and have passed with:
- At least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and English (General & EWS)
- At least 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and English (SC/ST/OBC)
2. You must qualify in NEET (UG) 2026 with a minimum percentile for your required category.
- At least 50% for General
- At least 40% for SC/ST/OBC
3. You must also be at least 17 years old on or before the 31st of December 2026 but there is no upper age limit.
4. Indian Citizens, persons of Indian origin and Overseas Citizens of India may apply for admission (NRI Candidates apply according to NRI Rules).

To complete your admission process you will need to provide the following documents with their original versions as well as copies:
- Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets
- Transfer/School Leaving Certificate
- NEET(UG) Admit Card, NEET(UG) Score Card, NEET(UG) Rank Letter
- An acceptable form of Government Identification (Aadhaar/AADHAR number, Passport etc).
- Passport Size Photos (minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8)
- Domicile Certificate (for Candidates applying under State Quota)

Infrastructure
The EWIMSR campus has been designed to meet the requirements of modern medical education. Hostel & Student Accommodation
