Admission Process 2026, JMN Medical College and Hospital
To secure admission into MBBS at JMNMC, candidates must:
- NEET requirement: Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with the required percentile.
- Register online for the counselling on the website of West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC).
- Take part in choice filling and select JMN Medical College in preferences.
- The counselling rounds are of Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up, and Stray Vacancy.
- On allotment of the seat, download the allotment letter and pay the admission fee.
- For document verification, medical check-up and payment of fees, personally report to the college within the given deadline (usually 7 days).
- Any delay caused by not reporting within the given time limit, may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
- Admissions for the NRI quota are also managed through WBMCC.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age must be 17 years by 31st December 2026.
- Must qualify NEET UG 2026 with 50th percentile (General), 40th percentile (SC/ST/OBC) and 45th percentile (General-PH).
- Academic qualification: Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) and English and obtained minimum aggregate marks in PCB : 50% (General), 40% (SC/ST) and 45% (OBC).
- Eligible candidates are Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs and PIOs.
- Must be medically fit.
