About Us
P.E.S. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESIMSR), located in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, is a medical education and healthcare institution established on 11 September 2001 under the leadership of Founder Chairman Dr. M. R. Doreswamy. The institute was established with the vision of bringing quality medical education and modern healthcare facilities to the rural population of the Rayalaseema region.
PESIMSR is committed to academic excellence, clinical training, medical research, and ethical medical practice. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, helping students develop a strong foundation in medical sciences through classroom learning, practical sessions, laboratory work, and supervised clinical experience.

Admission Process 2026, PESIMSR Kuppam
The admission process for 150 MBBS seats is via state-wise counselling.
- Examination: You must have passed the NEET-UG (National Entrance Test-UG) for 2026 to be eligible.
- counselling will be conducted by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh.
- You need to fill in your online counselling form and include PESIMSR Kuppam as one of your choices during the selection process.
- Seats will be allocated according to students' All India Rank (AIR), their category, and their local domicile status.
- 15% of the total number of seats for each category-C quota are reserved for NRI or NRI Sponsored Candidates.
- Once students have been allocated their seats, they will have to go to the college for verification of documents and payment of fees in order to complete their admission process.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Criteria: You must have reached 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026.
- Academic Qualification: You must have completed year 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
- Minimum Marks Required: For a student who falls into either the General or EWS category, the minimum percentage of total aggregate marks obtained in PCB must be 50% and for SC/ST/OBC the aggregate minimum requirement is only 40%.
- You must successfully qualify and pass the NEET UG exam with the required percentile respective to your category.

- Academic building: The academic block has air-conditioned lecture theatres arranged in gallery format. The pre-clinical labs have been designed specifically for use by medical students and include setup as well as equipment. The skill lab includes state-of-the-art equipment and products.
- Library: There are over 12,000 books in print format in the library. It also has a wide variety of international journals available for students. There is also a digital library.
- Hospital: The hospital has 820 beds. There are also radiological services in addition to fully supplied ICUs and 24 hours emergency/casualty services.
