Admission Eligibility and Procedure
MBBS Admission Eligibility :
Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS programme at Shri Balaji Institute of Medical Science, Raipur must meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the applicable NEET-UG admission rules.
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English should be studied as required for MBBS eligibility.
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed minimum qualifying marks for their category.
- The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission.
- Candidates must qualify NEET-UG, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Admission is subject to the applicable Chhattisgarh NEET-UG counselling and seat-allotment rules.
Admission Procedure :
- Appear for NEET-UG: Candidates must register for and appear in the NEET-UG examination conducted by NTA.
- Qualify NEET-UG: Candidates must obtain the required qualifying score/rank.
- Register for Counselling: Eligible candidates participate in the relevant NEET-UG counselling conducted by the competent counselling authority.
- Choice Filling: Candidates select Shri Balaji Institute of Medical Science, Raipur among their preferred institutions during counselling.
- Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted according to NEET rank, eligibility, category, preferences, and applicable counselling rules.

Important Dates of NEET-UG Counselling 2025
Seat allocation is being done in multiple phases both in All India counseling and State counseling of Chattisgarh.
