For the academic year 2026, GIMSH's MBBS tuition fee structure is as follows:
1. The total cost of 5.5 years of MBBS is Rs. 83 - 84 lakh rupees, (approx), payable in installments
2. Tuition fees differs according to quota:
- State quota: Lower tuition fees regulated by the state rules.
- Management quota: Higher than state quota tuition fees.
The hostel fees are separate, according to types of rooms (AC/non-AC and number of persons in each room). Additionally, the cost of admission, security deposit, books and supplies, exam fees, and miscellaneous fees can also vary annually. Admission Process 2026, GIMSH Durgapur
Admissions to the GIMSH medical school for MBBS will be determined entirely based on the NEET UG score and seats will be allotted through the West Bengal state authorities centralised counselling.

- All candidates must have passed the 12th grade (10+2) with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with a minimum aggregate of:
